Cheque Scam

If you have received a unsolicited cheque, notification letter or email From CF Rotex, it is counterfeit: the cheque cannot be cashed, and the letter and email are fraudulent - THIS IS A SCAM.  Currently, people are receiving these cheques with the request to cash it within 15 days, and to forward a portion of the payment on to another address or account.  Others have received a cheque with no information whatsoever.  Please do not attempt to cash the cheque, it does not come from our company. 

 
If you are a victim of this crime, please email or fax us a copy of the letter received and the cheque to 780-468-0044. Also notify Phone Busters, www.phonebusters.com, at 1-888-495-8501. Phone Busters is a division of the RCMP, or you can contact your local police department. It is important that you contact the authorities, and spread the news about this scam to family and friends.
